Forgiveness

Living in a forest
nobody to disturb
lonely but not suffering
hearing the birds singing in the trees and bushes
remembering me of how to see and hear
Listen:
I have a lot to say
but where shall I begin
Yesterday my dog died
I wept the whole night
no one to comfort me
I wrote a poem to control my feelings
putting words on my sorrow
and listened to war requim by Britten
Not one word was a mistake
And today I feel in contact with the wind
it guides me where to go
letting go of selfhate
letting go of anger
letting go of ill will
Forgiving God
Making a fire to bring an offer to mother Gaia.
